A man, 47, was apprehended for purportedly making a fake bomb threat at Golden Mile Tower on Monday (Jan 4) night.
Police stated it got a call around 9.59am asking for assistance at 6001 Beach Road as a result of a case of bomb threat.
It was reported that about 10 police cars were seen outside the building.
The culprit was arrested later on the same night in the Serangoon area.
He was detained under the breach of Prohibition Against False Threats of Terrorist Acts.
The sentence for the offence is up to five years in jail term and/or a fine not higher than $100,000.
